Approach the venue owner or manager and ask them if they have any space for private functions. You tell them the number of people you have and the food and drinks you want. And ask for any discounts for the numbers that you are bringing in. (Most venue owners are happy to increase their business in this way and so they are willing to give discounts if it is worth their while).
Finding the right venue can be a little tricky if you do not already have one in mind. The venue will need to have some spare space for your party (therefore it cant be the busiest venue in your city). But once you have found it then you have your venue, food and drinks all organised.
You will also find that most hens night activities can be held at any venue. You can have make up lessons, hair styling lessons, dancing classes, life drawing classes etc and all while you eat your food and drink your beverages at the venue you have found.
It does seem like a lot of work and shopping around. But there is a short cut, and quite a cheap one at that, considering the amount of time and headaches it saves you.
You find some entertainment consultants or agents who will usually have a large array of events suppliers at their finger tips. (This is because they have gone through all the headaches and frustrations in making those contacts as part of their business venture). And you tell them exactly what you want and they will quote you and set it all up for you. This might seem costly, but you have to remember that these consultants have business deals with their suppliers and so they receive special discounts. Most of the money they make for their business is from the suppliers and not their clients such as your self.
Whether you are hosting a hens night Adelaide event or a hens night event in any city, in these times of financial struggles where the monetary system is ready to fall apart, any way to reduce spending can be a helpful factor in your life.
