4. Is this a longer term committment or a short term wage requirement?
By looking at answers to these and other questions you will be able to narrow your thoughts and start formulating some ideas for your new business. Working at home may be attractive, a large income important and working without the distraction of regular staff essential. You might be swayed in the area of working from a computer and using freelance suppliers accessed through the Internet as your work force. The thought of dealing in actual goods might be more attractive than agency or commission work.
If you start with a framework for your business venture you will be better placed to start researching for the details to go with it. It might come down to what specific product you want to sell, in which case Internet research will be focused. It might boil down to what service you want to provide, and researching different consultancies might just spark off the idea that you are looking for.
