Does Fear Prevent You From Taking The Steps To Grow Your Business
Share: Balance. That is a powerful word. It is an empowering way to live. For many this is easier said than done. We all have an inner voice we hear as we go through the day. What tone of voice does your inner voice have
, supportive or critical?
Which part of you is louder, your ego or your intuition? Are you able to tell the difference? Are you more comfortable being in your head and thinking things through or do you tend to go with your gut and instinct?
Your ego is self protective and typically fearful. The typical response is fight, flight or freeze. Each one of these is a defensive stance. Basically, it is guided by outside pressures instead of internal cues. This approach to growing your practice creates a lot of resistance and can be draining. Decisions become difficult and time consuming because you need to be in control of everything.
The goal is to go with the flow. The Law of Attraction responds positively to this direction. Moving forward toward solutions; feeling confident in the direction you are taking to grow your practice is empowering. Your intuition, your instinct, is always moving in a positive direction. Your instinct and intuition is a strong guidance system directing you to grow and stretch beyond what you think is possible.
Ready to adopt a new approach and want to be more connected to your intuition? The good news is you can make this change when you are ready. There are cues to be aware of in order to determine whether your ego or your instinct is your guide.
The ego tends to be rooted in fear and creates resistance. There is a lack of trust and is always on guard for danger. This contributes to anxiety and fearfulness. On the other hand, your intuition is focused on safety and empowerment. It does not feel a need to control external factors. Instead your intuition is designed for creativity and self expression.
Your ego is dependent on external validation of your self-worth and that the decisions you make are correct. It desperately wants the approval of others. Your ego encourages you to act for approval instead of being genuine. There is fear that you will be unveiled as a fake. When you get out of your head and into your heart, your intuition is an inner guidance system. The motivation is to always strive for personal growth and to be genuine. Your intuition knows you have an obligation to yourself for your own happiness. When you have made the decision to follow your life purpose, your intuition will begin to guide you toward that goal.
Because the focus on your ego is fear-based, it is always coming from a place of lack. There is a sense of competition and not being enough for everyone. Your intuition knows there is more than enough clients for everyone. It wants to be part of a community based upon cooperation and collaboration. You are guided by a "giver's gain" approach and know that when you pass something forward in some form it will be returned back to you.
How often has your head doubted your abilities, talked you out of an opportunity and kept you fearful? The arguments sound compelling and logical, but there is always doubt about taking the next step forward. Your heart is the source of your intuition. Opportunities will appear and be a stretch for you. Your inner guide wants you to take that big leap of faith. It realizes the outcome is in direct proportion to the amount of effort you put into taking that next step toward your goal.
Both, your ego and your instinct, might be guiding you toward the same outcome. Each, however, has a very different purpose. Your ego is constrictive and will focus on lack. Being connected to your intuition is expansive, connecting you with your deeper purpose.
It takes practice to begin shifting from your ego being the voice of command to your intuition being the guidance for direction. Approaching this from the Law of Attraction, you always want to go with the flow and be moving toward solutions instead of away from a problem. This reinforces the focus of turning a negative into a positive.
Neither perception is right or wrong; this is a personal choice. Based upon the Law of Attraction, whatever you focus on you will have more of in your life. You have to do what is best for you. People will try to influence your decision. The only person who can actually decide what is the best approach for you to take is you. This is your responsibility. It is your choice as to whether you want to be externally motivated or internally driven. Change is possible.
When everything lines up and there is congruency, you will be more likely to reach your goal. Determine which approach is best for you. What do you want more of in your life? You are the only one to determine whether your ego or intuition ought to be primary. Whatever goal you set for yourself, make sure that your thoughts, actions and words are aligned. When you have it all lined up, you are more likely to successfully reach your goals.
