A hand gripper is a small product which you squeeze in one hand to improve grip strength and tone your forearms muscles.
Hand grippers have been around for years and have been largely considered of little use, mainly because they tended to be ill made and lacked durability and resistance. What makes the Captains of Crush different?
Firstly, these are well made, out of good material, designed properly, and built to last.
Secondly, they're comfortable to hold in your hand, although I do recommend using a workout glove for extra convenience.
Thirdly, Captains of Crush grippers come in 10 different resistance levels. You do not want to test yourself against the top levels. It may prove to be embarrassing. The resistance these offer is very hard indeed.
Even the lower resistance grippers can be challenging. If I were you, I wouldn't start with anything over the 2nd or 3rd level and try to build up from there.
The good thing about these grippers is that you can quickly find you perfect resistance and start building your grip power from that point onward. Having more grip power can help with many other weight lifting exercises so it should definitely be part of an overall workout routine.
While there are grippers who are less expensive than Captains of Crush, they do offer a high quality workout, with adequate resistance, and can help you to quickly develop strength. I've yet to see a fitness product that's received the kind of overwhelming positive reviews that this hand gripper has gotten.
