Ardyss is a network marketing company that began in 1991 in the United States whose mission was to help females improve their health. Since their inception, Ardyss has expanded into Canada, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and has plans for expanding into new international markets.

Although Arydss is a network marketing company, they have some major advantages to their system which enables them to be a key player within the industry.

First off, the compensation plan is quite lucrative for the distributor and through their system, a distributor is able to earn commissions upwards of $500,000. While this may seem excessive or unrealistic, the reason why Ardyss is able to afford to pay their distributors this much money is because they eliminate the middleman. In other words, because Ardyss manufactures their own products and distributes them to their representatives which eliminates the need for them to pay manufacturers for marked up products.

Secondly, Ardyss does not sell their products through retail channels. By not selling through a retail channel, the company is able to save over 30% in advertising costs which enables them to pay higher commissions to their representatives.

Lastly, Ardyss has a car incentive program that rewards the most successful representatives with a brand new Mercesdes Benz providing that they meet the requirements of the compensation plan.

Unfortunately, while all these incentives make the Ardyss opportunity quite lucrative, there is one MAJOR flaw to their business model that needs to be addressed. Upon researching this company, I found that they still employ a traditional based network marketing training in that they instruct their representatives to make a list of friends and family, cold call people, and attend hotel meetings. While these tactics worked in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, the marketplace has changed drastically in the past 10 years and these tactics are downright ineffective in today's marketplace.

Although this can hinder the vast majority of representatives that get involved, there are a select group of entrepreneurs within Ardyss that are making more money than ever because they understand business principles that create results despite what is going on in the marketplace.
