Applying For Financial Aid: Does The System Always Help?

According to the proclaimed statement of a world-known philosophy of American dream

, every intelligent and smart young person, the resident of the United States of America, has the real opportunity to get qualified education and to succeed in life. But how does this rule work indeed? This is rather curious question to be answered.

Unfortunately, statistics presents rather sad data. According to its investigations, a very small amount of people can really receive such government aid.

Why does it happen?

The answer hides very close. The crumbling economy can not provide enough money for the financial aid program. Even all possible taxes, charity payments are not sufficient for covering all expenses demands. The number of people willing to receive financial aid to be able to pay for college tuition exceeds the number of expecting aid.

Another serious key factor that becomes the main stumbling block is the arising of tuition payment rate. Thus, financial aid as the only possible way for some people to scramble out of poverty, turns into a verdict allowing of no appeal. It is a pity to say, but such tendency is supposed to increase from year to year. This means that the principle of American dream to be true is smashed by the cruel reality where money reins the world.

Though during this year the process of obtaining the financial aid is supposed to be facilitated (FAFSA application form will be provided via internet resources to be filled in free of charge), it does not mean that it would bring more happy chances to those who hope to get it more than the others. The sad consequence of such situation is the following: a lot of smart and prospective young people almost have no chances to succeed in life as they wanted it to do. And this gap between poor and rich educated people gets more and more.
