It's this savings membership that the company markets through a direct sales business model. In a nutshell, members can receive savings when they purchase various services and products including furniture, travel, insurance, jewelry, communications services and close to 30 other products and services. Distributors are encouraged to recruit other people who would benefit from the savings membership, sell the membership to customers and build a downline of productive salespeople.

Team National was founded by the late Dick Loehr and has been around for more than 18 years. The company is also registered with the Direct Selling Association (DSA), The US Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The fact that it's been around for almost two decades and is registered with several highly credible associations goes against the notion that Team National is a scam. In fact, they have a pretty impressive history and have some good people, both in the field and on the corporate team. Currently, the company is based in Florida and is led by Dick' Loehr's daughter, Angela Loehr Chrysler.

As far as their business opportunity is concerned, you will have to pay an initial start-up cost (which mostly pays for your personal membership) to become a distributor. While there are a few ways to join, the premiere lifetime membership can cost close to $2,000. While this may seem expensive (and compared to other network marketing companies, it may very well be), keep in mind that you are going into business for yourself. How much would it cost you to start a traditional business, hire employees, pay for advertising and obtain various licenses you may need to run your business? I guarantee you that it will be a lot more than $2,000. Another thing to keep in mind is that there is potential to earn a significant commission for marketing a membership, so you can recoup your initial costs fairly quickly. In addition, the company has a binary-style compensation plan that can potentially position you to get spillover volume from your uplines depending where you're positioned in their organization. All in all, for the right person, the compensation plan can be quite lucrative.

In closing, Team National is a very credible company that sells a good product, and has a solid business opportunity. However, contrary to what you may have been told, that has very little to do with whether you will be successful or not. While it's obviously beneficial to you to have a stable company supporting your business, what really determines whether you will succeed or not, is your ability to sponsor people into your business, your ability to sell memberships and your ability to build and duplicate a downline of distributors. And, one of the biggest factors to accomplishing those three things is your ability to market. If you don't have a clue about marketing, you will have a hard time building your Team National business. It's critical to your success that you get the right marketing training so you can brand yourself and generate an endless flow of quality leads. Of course, you can build your business using traditional, offline techniques but, for the average person getting started, calling on your friends and family will only take you so far. If you can combine effective offline strategies with the ability to generate 20-30+ leads a day online, there's no telling how big your Team National organization can get.
