Mechanically this sedan is very much similar to Ford Escape. It also include stylistic differences such as European style turn signal repeater, signature Mercury waterfall front grille, two tone interior and mono tone interior cladding. Mariner is Mercury's first car based SUV which is placed just below Mountaineer lineup. 2010 Mercury Mariner is added with sway controls and Ford's My Key as a stand alone feature on all trim levels. Mariner Engineers have recommended E85 fuel on the optional V 6 engine. Ford motors have also included some Euro style turn signal for 2010 model. Design and Features:
Mercury Mariner's interior is very pleasant and offered with a huge central console with removable bins. This sedan is also available with satin finish metallic accent and premium leather upholstery. Upfront the seating arrangement is too tall and no terms of space and comfort. Rear seat is flat as a pirate's plank and front seat is shaped well and this sedan is not offered with telescopic steering wheel. One of the most important technological features offered with this sedan is auto parking option. Once activated system automatically steers during parallel parking and driver has to control only throttle and brake. The accessory is also paired with Bluetooth phones direction and messages are sent via piped mariner's speakers or via text message.
