The Latest Trend In American Pop Culture - Online Business Systems

Perhaps you've noticed the latest trend sweeping the United States - no, not American Idol's Adam Lambert, and not Lady Gaga's outrageous outfits. It's not Hybrid SUVs or a new version of the South Beach Diet either. It's the current obsession with trying to find work at home opportunities. The internet is buzzing with people searching Google for home income opportunities.

There are a couple different theories as to why people are suddenly so interested in working from home. The most popular one currently is simply the poor state of the American economy. More and more companies are laying people off and fewer and fewer companies are hiring. People need an income and if there is some way to achieve that while working in the comfort of your own home, it just makes sense to investigate telecommuting or online business systems.

But the Google home income craze is not just motivated by the recent economic downturn. There are other issues at hand in today's society. One of the popular theories is that the new wave of people entering the workforce are part of "Generation Me" - a generation of people supposedly raised to expect more than ever before, though they are not willing to do more to get it.

These young people just might be the bread-and-butter of the online business systems. They want to be their own boss, but they don't necessarily want to work their way up in a standard company promotion format. They're also more technologically savvy than many of their older, out of work counterparts. Searching Google for home income opportunities is right up their ally.

A third theory that helps explain the nation's recent interest in online business systems is the cultural shift in employee/employer relations. Especially after the large scandals with companies like Enron and WorldCom - where employee pensions were lost in an attempt to cover up debt and failed deals - people began losing faith in the corporations that employed them. In addition, higher salaried positions in companies are often requiring more and more advanced degrees as a pre-requisite for being hired. This means the concept of "moving up" in a company is severely limited compared to what it used to be in the seventies or eighties.

One of the final attributes of today's society that could be driving the Google home income trend is the real estate market. Yes - the dire real estate conditions have been blamed for everything at this point. The loss of stability on Wall Street, the collapse of large banking institutions, the credit freeze - the list goes on and on. But the truth is that an inability to sell one's home also leads to an inability to relocate for a job. If you're having trouble paying one mortgage, there's little chance that you'll be able to afford two.

Whatever the reason is, online business systems and home income opportunities are starting to pique everyone's interest, from ABC News to Yahoo to a whole host of books. And it looks as though they're here to stay.
