We should definitely find out if the inn or the hotel where we plan to stay is not booked in this period. Also, try to find pictures of how the rooms look before booking anything. Make sure that you ask the hotel if you need to make a down payment in advance or you can just pay when you arrive at the hotel. One day before you leave you should give the hotel a call to see is everything is in order and if they are expecting you.
On the other hand, if you choose to hire a travel agency then you will not need to worry about these details. But if you want to double check then you just have to call the agency to make sure that every reservation has been made so that you won't have any bad surprises when you leave.
For all of us our holiday is very important thus we have to prepare in advance in order to make sure that we will have all we need to relax and have a great time.
