Mona Vie is a network marketing beverage company that was officially launched in 2005 by Monarch Health Sciences. The company is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mona Vie has expanded around the world (North America, Japan, Israel, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia) and established itself as one of the premiere network marketing beverage companies in history. The company does over $849 million in sales annually.

A real shiny mark of the company is that Mona Vie has 450 employees and owns a charitable foundation called the "MORE Project."

PRODUCT REVIEW

The beverage is a blend of Brazilian acai berry and 18 other fruits nutritional supplement. The drink is not approved by the FDA but the members in the company claim many benefits of improved wellness from drinking of the beverage.

Mona Vie has several products to choose from including: MonaVie Original Blend, MonaVie Original Gel Packs, MonaVie Kosher Blend, MonaVie Active Blend, MonaVie Active Gel Packs, MonaVie Pulse Blend, MonaVie Pulse Gel Packs, MonaVie (M)mn Blend, EMV

COMPENSATION PLAN-

According to Mona VieExecutive VP Henry Marsh, in 2008 earnings disclosure stated that 14% of Mona Vie members made a profit. The company's products are sold and distributed by non-employee distributors who are eligible to receive commissions based on product sales. These commissions can lead to a recurring income.

Individual distributors are encouraged to market their own businesses by recruiting new Mona Vie distributors to sale the products (referred to in multilevel marketing jargon as a "downline"); the recruiter can then, in theory, receive additional commissions based on sales by their downlines. The compensation plan is based around the popular "Binary" structure which is designed to promote team synergy.

BOTTOM LINE ON MONA VIE

The company has passed the storm of criticism, litigation, and bad press very well. I DO NOT think Mona Vie is a scam. It appears to be a good foundation and a practical opportunity to share a drink built on the benefits of the Brazilian Acai Berry. If you are truly going to be successful in the company you must find a solid internet marketing system to give you a constant exposure. This will allow you to have a fresh stream of prospect leads to share you business opportunity with.
