For children, it is common that they have trick-or-treating. However, for the young adults, trick-or-treating is no longer part of the activities. This is because the trick-or-treating would be uncomfortable for the teenagers and young adults as they are a bit too old for that. They will normally organize or attend fancy dress costumes parties, where everyone dresses in funny, creative and unique costumes depending on the theme of the fancy dress costumes party. Hence if you are organizing the event, you must first considered about the boys and girls fancy dress that you would get for your children. This is important because if your children are left on their own to choose their girls or boys fancy dress, they might choose costumes that are either too revealing, sexy and not decent. You must also spend time encouraging your children about the choice of their girls and boys fancy dress. As for those of you who want to be more economical, you could actually learn to make your own girls and boys fancy dress. Besides that, it is also common that people organize visitation to haunted attractions, play some pranks on others, and even watch horror films. The Hollywood production companies take advantage of this and would normally release some exciting horror movies during the Halloween season. There are of course many other more ways to celebrate the Halloween day but most people would want to go for the fancy dress party. There have been different views toward this event. For Christians, some of them would practice the Christian traditions of All Saints' Day. There are others who simply treat it as a secular event and some despise it as the event is related to a pagan celebration. As in Islam, any association with the celebration of this event is forbidden as it is a holiday with pagan roots. As for the Jews, Halloween is viewed as a pagan practice while some others look at it simply as a secular celebration and take part in it for the sake of the fun of it.
