See Pure Lakes And Rivers That Make Ontario An Angler's Paradise

Sometimes, you just need to make a getaway out of the country. Not because you're fleeing a crime scene, but because you just need a relaxing vacation away from home. Our neighbor to the North, Canada, is an excellent place to do this. There are so many things to see, do, and experience, and whether or not you decide to bring friends or family depends entirely on you. A passport or passport card is needed to get into Canada, but don't fret. And now, renewing a United States passport is easier than ever.

These online agencies help make obtaining passports anxiety free. Finding a secure and trustworthy site with which to do your passport shopping with is important. Whether you are looking for expediting an American passport, replacing, or renewing a passport, they can get it all done for you with a few clicks of a mouse.

The biggest city in Canada is Toronto, and it is chock-full of stuff for you and your family to do. If you go to the top of the CN tower in a glass elevator, you can look down from it's 1,136 foot peak on the sparkling lights of the city below. As one of the Wonders of the Modern World, it's definitely worth a visit. In September, the International Film Festival takes place in Toronto. The Toronto Zoo, where animals from all over the world can be seen, is another place to visit. The Royal Ontario Museum is found in Toronto, and you can see ancient Egyptian mummies, venture into a real bat cave, and see the huge reconstructed skeletons of dinosaurs. Toronto is also very famous for its amazing wine, delicious food, plenteous shopping, and assortment of bars and clubs around the city.

Definitely make a trip to see Niagara Falls. At half a mile long and seventeen stories high, these falls are an eye-opening experience, and there are plenty of ways to do it. You could take the original Maiden of the Mist into the falls, take a helicopter over the falls, gaze down on them from a high tower, or even take a boat behind the falls through a network of caves and tunnels.

The Niagara Escarpment is a site declared by UNESCO to be a World Biosphere Region. Some of it's most eye-popping features are the huge white cedars that grow straight out from the escarpment itself. This site weaves all around Ontario for about 450 miles. Because there are tons of parks and conservation areas to visit, you can meet some of the flowers, birds, mammals, and other animals that call this region home.

If you have a flower or garden lover in your midst, Ontario is world famous for its incredible gardens. Communities in Bloom is a non-profit organization that brings beautiful flowers to towns, meaning just a drive through some of Ontario's cities is bound to be beautiful. Burlington's Royal Botanical Gardens is a site that bursts into life in the spring, bringing with it flowers of every type and color. Historic homes, city parks, and even the more untamed lands of Niagara hold many blooms waiting to be discovered.
