Custom Postcards Are Great For Introducing Your Business

Some may think postcards are no longer a current marketing tool, if you think about it, a professional and properly designed postcard can at times be more effective than other advertisements that cost much, much more.

Not only can a postcard be filled with color and information, but since it can be stuck in your pocket, mailed out, used as a "take one" in a booth or even at a store or restaurant, a postcard can actually reach more people than a television ad. And can certainly be more permanent.

If you run an ad on TV, then you only have so many eyeballs that see it. Not only that, but if the ad isn't at a great time, then that means even fewer eyeballs. Postcards, at just a few cents a piece, can get into the hands of many more people than a commercial. TV ads cannot be targeted at an entire audience, they are aimed at smaller groups. Postcards, on the other hand, can be as general or as focused as you'd like.

If you have an existing customer base, you can use postcards to introduce new products, or to give discounts on existing products you want to phase out. Postcards can be used to pique interest when it comes to new services, or on services you already offer. Simply using the postcard as a reminder of your hours or an upcoming sale, or even as a "haven't seen you in awhile" is effective.

Postcards can also give you a quick and inexpensive way to drive customers to your booth at a trade show, or at a market. Even putting a map to an event or your place of business on a postcard means you can show a customer where you are, making it that much easier for them to actually connect to you in person. Postcards are great for reminders for meeting dates and times and can be put on a bulletin board or fridge, always in the recipients view.

Postcards can deliver an immense amount of information to a potential client or to an existing customer. Using them effectively isn't just an inexpensive way to do business, it's an inexpensive way to do GREAT business. Whether you use postcards to offer discounts, to provide information on your products or services, or simply as an attention getter, when it comes to effectiveness, postcards can't be beat!
