Stay In Eindhoven Hotels For Business Or Pleasure.

With its background in Industry and design, Eindhoven is a Dutch city with lots of visitors staying in Eindhoven hotels for business or pleasure, or maybe combining both together. It is easy to get to as it is at the centre of an extensive rail network reaching across the Netherlands in many directions. It also has a bustling international airport just outside the city .You can drive, or within the city centre a bicycle is a traditional Dutch method of transport and the city is easy to navigate on two wheels. The bus system is also extensive and great for anyone on a budget.

Being a university town, Eindhoven also has a young population and this means that there is plenty to do in the evenings. There are lots of bars, many of them with live music. You can spend the evening in the Stratumseind, which is a street which has about forty bars down its length, with lots of take away food outlets which stay open until late, after the bars close. Most of these bars have music and DJs, many of them well known, so this makes it a great place for a sizzling night out before revellers return in the early hours to the Eindhoven hotels. You can also dance the night away in some of the bars, and opposite the Central Station you will find Liquid, which plays music from the seventies and eighties era and is strictly for the over 23 year olds. Nearby, for some metal rock, you can go to Ramblers. There is something for everyone in this vibrant city if you are looking for exciting night life.

Eindhoven has numerous festivals throughout the year. Staying in Eindhoven hotels in the summer, there are usually lots of festivals. You can choose from the folk festival known as Folkwoods if you enjoy traditional folk music, and in the same month you could visit the reggae Sundance festival. In fact ail through summer Eindhoven is extremely busy. If you prefer some cool jazz, the Jazz in Lightown festival is at this time of year. Towards the end of June the Fiesta del Sol lasts for three days and consists of both music and theatre, attracting visitors from all over Europe. The most colourful festival has to be the Eindhoven Carnaval which cheers up the end of winter during February. Eindhoven is lit up brightly during these events, as it is the City of Lights, where some of the first light bulbs were made by the world famous Philips Company, who still operate their electronics firm today though they are now an important global company.
