Thal Kedar and Kundar - and is dramatic in its beauty. Pithoragarh is a beautiful hill station that lies on the Kailash-Mansoravar trail and lies on the route to as many as six mountain passes into Tibet. You can choose to bask in the beauty of Pithoragarh with its many temples or you can set off on some adventures of your own. Pithoragarh is both temple town and an excellent base for treks and river-rafting in the surrounding countryside.

Men and mountains apart, Pithoragarh has little in terms of entertainment- no flocks of tourists, no pilgrims and no tourist guides. Just invest in a good pair of shoes and trek around the mountains here.
