The answer to that question depends on whom you are speaking to. Yes, there are health benefits to drinking alkaline water, but is tap water really all that bad for you? Most adults today grew up drinking only tap water, and I don't think that we have suffered health consequences as a result. Telling customers that a lime would do the same job as the Enagic ionizer would not aid you in a sale.
