The companies will have additional investments from their own resources in addition to the $3 million contribution by the government of the United States, in order to launch the project. Other than the United States, other countries like France, Japan, Canada, India, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Sweden, South Africa, and the European commission (standing as entity) came together in support of the Global Superior Energy Performance Partnership.
