Kings of Leon is an American band which came into existence in the year 2000 from Tennessee. It is made up of four talented men including the three Followill brothers namely Jared (on the bass), Caleb (playing the rhythm guitar and the lead vocals as well), and Nathan (on drums). The 4th band member playing the lead guitar is Matthew Followill , the cousin of the three brothers.
Their first EP album entitledHolly Roller Novocaine was released in February 2003.The album called Youth and Young Manhood was released just a couple of months after the EP album was out in the market.In October 2004, theKings of Leon released theirsecond album called Aha Shake Heartbreak . However, it was only available in United Kingdom during that time. A year after the album became available in the markets of United States.
"Radioactive"is the first single due out of the bakers dozen on Come Around Sundown, which will also be released as a deluxe edition featuring live songs recorded at the band's recent show at London's Hyde Park.
The band set to release their new album 'Come Around Sundown' on October 18th, Kings Of Leon previously confirmed a lengthy North American tour. After their outdoor appearances this summer in London's Hyde Park and the V Festival the American four-piece will be returning to the UK for an arena tour in December, finishing close to Christmas.
Kings of Leon will kick off their tour in Manchester on December 13th, Sheffield Arena on December 14 and 19, Birmingham National Indoor Arena on December 16 and 17 and conclude the jaunt at the O2 Arena in London on December 21st.
