The Landlocked Country Of Ethiopia

Ethiopa is landlocked country located in Africa. It's officially known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The capital city is known as Addis Ababa. The country has a population of close to 79.3 million people and the second most populous in Africa. It covers an estimated area of 1.1 million km2. Her neighbors include Eritrea that was once a part of the country to the north, Kenya to the south, Sudan to the west and Somalia to the east. Ethiopia is considered a land of natural contrasts. It has numerous waterfalls, volcanic hot springs, mountains, caves, medieval churches and even some of the world's lowest and hottest points below sea and above level. The largest cave Africa is in the country at a place called Sof Omar. The hottest place on earth is located at Dallol and it usually very high in temperatures throughout the year. The country is one of the highest in production of honey and coffee in Africa. It also has the largest number of livestock population in Africa. Ethiopia has so much to offer in terms of tourism. There are deserts along the country's eastern border and tropical forests in the southern part. Lake Tana found on the north of the country is the source of the biggest River in Africa, the Blue Nile. There are numerous species of wildlife ranging from the Gerada Baboon, the Walia Ibex and Ethiopan Wolf. Some of the wildlife is among the most endangered like the African Wild Dog, Mountain Nyala, Grevy Zebra and the Nubian Ibex. One cannot exhaust the country amazing wonders in a day.
