Travel Information For The Region Of Praia Da Rocha, Portugal

Praia Da Rocha is one of the most beautiful of the Algarve regions, and is part of the charming town of Portimao. It's a seriously well-liked getaway for many tourists thanks to the golden, white sandy beaches. It was a quiet resort back in 1930 but has increased greatly in popularity.

Praia Da Rocha's nearest airfield is Faro International Airport, which happens to be one of the most frantic airports in Portugal. It's surmised that Faro International Airport servers just about 5 and a half million passengers every year!

The roads used to be pretty poor in Praia da Rocha, but due to the increase in tourism, they have improved the condition of them considerably. For that reason, it's simple ( and highly recommended ) to hire an automobile here. You can also hire a taxi from the airport. There are lots available and they are extraordinarily cheap.

Other options for getting around the resort are a tourist train which can take you around the resort or you can take a bus around for a small fare. Most of the people do wish to hire a automobile because it will save you more in the end and you can get around unreservedly.

If you are hot on views and sights, definitely take the automobile. If you're over here for a relaxing break just lounging around by the pool or local beach ( as most of you'll be ), then it probably isn't worth hiring an automobile out. The corporations could have great deals on though so you could always check them out!

One of the nice things about Praia Da Rocha is the quality and selection of the hostels and accommodation. No matter what your budget is, you may easily find something suitable. There is a range of luxury five star hostels to choose from Alongside budget options for those, well, on a restricted budget! A must-see attraction in Praia Da Rocha is the famous Dolphin Safari.

Praia Da Rocha is also a great destination for those searching out an action-packed holiday. There are plenty of great eateries round the marina serving great food, and there are a bunch of ship tours on offer where you can go and watch the dolphins swimming about in the clear sea. This particular trip is sometimes known as the Dolphin watching safari, and it's one of the most recommened attractions to see here.

If you're here to relax ; grab a towel and head out to the attractive beach where you will find a great spot to lie out in the sunshine and just listen to the waves of the sea. If that isn't in your plans for your vacation then hire a boat and some jet skis and head out of the water for a day filled with fun and excitement.

After a day of nature and relaxing, head on over to the Algarve shopping center for a spot of retail therapy. There are numerous shops to choose from, and a few nice caf's to enjoy a coffee at while you are there. Prices aren't too pricy and the range of clothing ( especially for girls ) is impressive.
