subject: 5 Ways To Recruit More People Into Your Business [print this page] Every person that has had any experience in network marketing knows one of the basic
principles to abooming organization is recruiting. There's just no getting around this reality.
Whether you're building leads in a local market or online you are still going to have to reach out and make contact with folks at some point, even you don't like the sound of that. The nature of the business forces you to.
Additionally, one also has to be able to teach the people you've brought into your business how to do the same things you have; in other words, make your business duplicatable. So not only do you have to be able to recruit, but you HAVE to be able to teach your team how to do so as well.
So here are a few tips on the bestways get people involved.
1) First, Listen. I've heard folks say before " Have big ears",meaning simply pay attention to what the person you're conversing with REALLY WANTS. If you listen they will let you know you- whether they know they are doing so or not.
2)Wear their shoes. Take a second to reach outside of what you desire out of your converation or meeting and try to see things from the prospect's point of view. They needto be sure you are someone who can really help them get where they want to be. Help them make that decision. Recall what it was like for you when you were in the identicalposition. What was it that brought you into the business or convinced you to align with a certian sponsor ?
3)Find common ground.
You could perhapsswitchthe order of this and the last point , but to me they're to a large extent interchangeable. I've also heard this called " finding their pain." Why is it this person is looking into the industry in the first place? Their job? Money problems ? Lack of time at home ? Whatever it is, find it ( and it should be something, otherwise they wouldn't be looking into this type of business ) and pick out something form your own past that relates. Show them that hey, you've been there too- but now you're not because of XYZ. People need to know you were once in thier shoes as well.
4)Ask questions.
This not only gets them talking and opening up, but puts people more at ease as well. You are taking the time to listen to what they have to say, and people appreciate that much more than simply being sold on something by having it shoved in their face every day. They get that enough on TV, radio, and every other venue out there. This makes you stand out as well- and it also puts you in control.
When you are talking to someone about joining your business, think of it as you interviewing THEM to see if they're certified for your time and effort and expertise, and you're deciding whether you want them in your company or not.
Now that is a unmitigated 180 from how scores of people recruit, but altering your stance about bringing aboard is one of the basic steps to skyrocketing your recruiting efforts. We've all been trained to run from someone who needs us for their business to succeed; you need to make sure you're letting people know you don't need them for your business ,( even though you do want them)because if they don't join you'll merely find other people who will. No lone recruit is imperativeto your business, not when you are able to produce leads easily and effectively. And if you do however have a problematical person who you want in your business but appears to be playing hardball...
5) Throw down a challenge.
their eyes.
