I often get asked this question and it is of the utmost importance if you are going to have any success online.
That question goes a little something like this
"If you are going to focus on one thing in internet marketing what would it be?"
Seems pretty valid doesn't it?
If you were to focus on one thing and one thing only, you would want to focus on something that is part of all that is online marketing.
The answer to the question is none other than "copywriting"!!!!
Why copywriting you ask?
Well if you think about it, copywriting has its place in EVERYTHING you do online.
Think hard
Videos (copywriting)
Blog posts (you guessed it, copywriting)
Emails (yep again copywriting)
Ads
Articles
press releases
social media posts
talking on the phone
squeeze pages
product creation
sales pages
All have some form of copywriting involved.
It isn't called the million dollar skill for nothing.
If you can get good or great at copywriting then you can pretty much write your own ticket in the online world.
After all, without good copy you won't get anywhere.
There are plenty of resources online about copywriting, many great books, and courses. From greats like Dan Kennedy, Yanik Silver, Gary Bencivenga, Ben Settle just to name a couple.
So again if I were to focus on ONE thing and one thing only that would be copywriting!
Know it, master it and you will go far.
