subject: Want A Quick New Style? Try Hair Extensions. [print this page]

When it comes to fashion women can be very demanding! Styles and trends are constantly changing and we want to move with them quickly and keep our look as up to date as possible.

Every day we see pictures of our favourite celebrity ladies looking gorgeous and glamorous in the press and the pages of magazines and of course we want to look just like them, thats the way celebrity works, they set the trends and we take them and make them our own.

But all that Hollywood glamour can be hard to achieve and with styles changing so quickly it can be difficult to keep up, especially with hair trends.

Not so long ago the super-short pixie haircut was all the rage; bobs and boy-cuts were the fashion. But recently it seems to have gone to the other extreme, with more women flaunting long, flowing locks.

How do they do it? Growing out your hair, especially to extreme long lengths, takes a long time, and keeping it looking shiny and healthy takes a lot of effort.

The secret for most women is getting hair extensions. This is a great, quick way to get that gorgeous length and added volume.

Of course, we dont all have celebrity budgets so most of us wont be spending thousands of pounds to get a personal stylist. But there are a lot of different options to consider ranging in price and quality, and giving everyone the chance to effectively buy a brand new look.

The quality of material used to make extensions varies. A cheap option is to go for synthetic hair. This means that the strands of hair are made from artificial fibre but made to look as real as possible. Youll get what you pay for with this option and probably pay more the higher the quality.

It is possible to buy nice looking pieces though and its worth shopping around to get the very best for your money.

These clip-in hair pieces come in a range of different colours and styles. You could choose super straight or even waves or curls to create the exact look youre trying for.

Perhaps the better option though is opting for real hair extensions. Being real human hair allows for the piece to look more natural and blend better with your own hair. You can still buy a variety of colours and styles and as they are a lot better quality than the synthetic version, they give you a much more professional touch.

With either option you can choose to do it your self at home or treat yourself and visit a salon.

DIY options include clip-ins that you can remove after one use or pieces you can weave into your own hair. The same can be done at a salon of course but the results will be far more professional.

When done at a salon they can last in your hair for months, if you take good care of them and your hair. A stylist will be able to give you all the best advice on how to care for them too, so youll get the best experience from them.

Whatever you choose though, there is probably no quicker, better way to create a whole new you!
