Groom Wedding Speeches
[print this page]
With your speeches, be it the groom or Brides Wedding Speech, it does help if you are aware of
what each other are going to say, to ensure that you arent repeating each other.
It is quite possible that you will both have a couple of the same concepts for your speech. For
example telling tales of when and how you initially got together and some of the highlights of
the times you have had.
Although bride and grooms do not always do their own speeches, maybe just one of you is doing a
speech, or perhaps you even wish to do a wedding speech together!
In my opinion, a critical part of many Marriage Speeches is for it to have some funny elements to
it. That said, you do not want it all to be funny, but groom speeches with some jokes mixed in
are usually very pleasing to the guests, while theyre still touching, all the same and do not
offend anybody. The best way to do achieve this is to mix in some good jokes with your speech.
Say something emotional, then add a little humour to keep everybody relaxed and interested.
You should also be informal and have interaction with the guests. At the end of the day we need
to remember that this is not a lecture, it is a toast. The groom must feel like theyre talking
with great friends, which mostly will be the situation. Remember to make eye contact with the
guests, and do not stare in one direction continually.
Another idea for you is to try employing a few marriage speech examples.
