subject: How Wearing A T-shirt Can Make You Money [print this page]

How many times a week to you put on a t-shirt? Unless you work in a business that will not allow you to, chances are you wear them all of the time. Have you ever wanted to have a sideline business, but just never got it started? Maybe you wanted to have a dog walking business to bring in few extra dollars. Maybe you make great flower arrangements or you could mow yards. People do these small time businesses a lot to help them make ends meet when they do not make enough at their regular full time job. Just ask anyone who makes minimum wage and they can tell you how important it is to have a few other irons in the fire.

Getting a small business started on a shoe string budget can be difficult to say the least, so you have to be as smart and as thrifty as you can. One great way to advertise is to wear it on your shirt, a t-shirt to be exact. If you are in your small business alone, you can have one for everyday. If you have a partner or two or just some good friends and family, give them a free t-shirt with your website or business phone number on it and they can advertise for you everywhere they wear it. Anyone that sees them in your t-shirt will see your business advertisement as well. It can not get any cheaper advertisement than that because a t-shirt can be worn over and over again for several years!

You might not think that advertising on a t-shirt is that great a bargain, but you should ask yourself this question. When was the last time you saw someone wearing a t-shirt with something written on it and did not take at least a second to glance at it to see what it said? There is just something about a shirt with words or pictures on it that compels people to look at it. You just can not help it. So, this should tell you that advertisement on a shirt that could cost as little as ten dollars and last for several years must be worth the investment.

Once you get you small business off of the ground, give out free t-shirts to customers who will usually be proud to get a free shirt number one and be benefit you by wearing it if they were satisfied with your particular service or product. Any kind of free stuff is good customer relations and it will be good for your business over all.
