subject: New Generation Wallet Review [print this page]

Wallets are an important item for everyone and are something which we have to be very careful about. Most people carry personal information in their wallets in the form of credit cards, insurance cars and identity cards which if misplaced or stolen can be very inconvenient. In order to counter this problem there is a new generation of wallets which helps solves the problem of credit card fraud or identity theft and keeps your information safe.

One of these products is an eWallet. An eWallet is a program which stores all your personal information for later use and keeps its safe. It is an application which can be installed on your handheld PDAs or mobile phones so that you can take it everywhere with you. In this way you do not have to carry around all your cards and information so it is very convenient. Also, your information will be safe from being stolen or misused.

There are many companies which have started working on electronic wallets. One of these devices is known as the iWallet which is introduced by iWallet Corporation. It is designed primarily to overcome identity theft and credit card fraud. It is designed with the help of engineers who work for NASA so it is a very high tech product. One of its best features is its biometric scanner which scans your fingerprint for opening your wallet. In this way, only you can open your wallet and if someone steals it, he or she will not be able to access your information. Another amazing feature is the ability of the iWallet to be paired with your mobile phone or PDA so that if the two are separated for more than a specified distance, an alarm goes off which can alert you that you have either forgotten your wallet or someone has stolen it.

There are also many other companies, such as Alcatel Lucent, which are working on using mobile phones as wallets. In this way you can store your information in your mobile phone instead of having to carry around all your cards.
