Does Working A Home Based Business Really Provide Freedom?

This morning, we had the baptism service at our church for our son. Now don't worry,I'm not going to go off on a religious tear here. It just made me appreciate the fact that by building our primary opportunity, it afforded methe option to plan and attend an important family event without worrying about getting the day off. I didn't have to cut the party short because I had toget to work on time. I say this not to boast, but todrive home the point that there is a better way out there than working the 40-40-40 plan.

What's that? You don't know what the forty forty forty plan is. Well, it'sthe job related rut thatmost people find themselves in. Working for forty years, for forty hours per week, and retiring after all of that with less than $40,000 in the bank to live on. Sounds awfully inspiring, right? Yeah, I didn't think so either. I wasn't ready to submit to living my life that way, and wasn't going to subject my family to it either.

So before I get into thequestion asked in the title, allow me to take a quick detour. Ask yourself a question. Does the method taught to us as children work? What method is that exactly? Go to school, get good grades, which should lead to a good job, and hopefully job security. Get a good job to build someone else's dream, perhaps! So where does that leave you? How secure do you all feel right now when you go to work? Not so much I'll bet.

So now onto the heart of it. Does working a home based business provide freedom? I guess that depends on the individual person. It also depends on the type of freedom they seek. Time, financial, or maybe even just the ability to choose to not have to work a full time J-O-B. The answer lies within you. You alone have the ability to push yourself, to think outside the box, to find another way.Create your own security and freedom. Now ask yourself the question again. Does your network marketing business give you security? How will you answer? I know my answer!
