Olympia London is another top spot based in Kensington and has plenty on over October. On Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th the UK RumFest will return. With the rapidly growing popularity of rum, the UK RumFest sees two days of demonstrations, seminars, masters' classes, cocktail sampling, live salsa and samba dancing. If you love Rum them this is an event not to be missed as it features over 400 rums from across the world, giving you the chance to sample them all! Live music will add a touch of entertainment to the event.
Up until the 23rd October the Richard Young Gallery is holding the GQ Man of the Year Awards: A photographic retrospective which shows a variety of striking images by celebrity photographer Richard Young. The unique exhibition showcases photographs of many cultural icons including Paul McCartney, Simon Cowell, Madonna, Russell Brand, Jay-Z, Take That, Justin Timberlake and much more.
Young artists should be heading for the Royal college of Art where on the 13th and 14th October will be holding the hugely popular art exhibition UK Youth. This exhibition gives young artists the chance to showcase their paintings sculptures and photographs and giving art fans the chance to snap up affordable works. Those with a clever eye might be able to spot a serious artist in the making and snap up an early peice of art before they become famous and add a few more noughts to the price of their art work.
