Different Colors Of Education System In India

Upanayana is a word that has very deep attachment with India education which is known as formal admission ceremony. This ceremony is treated as the re-birth of the child and was known as 'Dvijya'. In ancient time 'Parisads' word was for higher learning where primary mode of learning was Sanskrit. But now primary mode of language is differ from state to sate. Sravana, Nidhyasana and Manana are the three modes of education in India. Shrutis is a type of education in which knowledge and skill are passed orally where as Manana in which pupils had to think themselves about what they have heard and made their own inferences and assimilate about the lesson taught by their teacher and Nidhyasana means complete information about the truth and its uses in the life.

At that time women also got equal right in the education sector. Vikramshila, Nalanda and Taxila were the most important universities of India in the ancient times. Among these three Taxila University was famous for medical studies, Nalanda was a university with high numbers of colleges with residential campus. Students not only form India but also from different countries especially from South Asia came here for higher education. Vikramshila is famous for religious teachings. Now the time has changed and education system in India follows an implantation of British rulers what they had left in 1958.

As compared to previous education system now the education system in India has divided into many categories like pre primary, primary, middle, secondary, higher secondary, undergraduate, post graduate and finally research degree courses. Now India has long list of different types of universities, colleges and educational institutes that have excellence reputation worldwide. IITs and IIMs are among the top institutes of technology and management institutes of India. Not in regular courses India has also have remarkable records for distance education where it offers quality distance education to its students for various sections.
