We, who live in countries that have roots in Western Europe have been taught from early childhood that love will come upon us one day and from that moment forward we will live happily ever after. While not many of us will admit we actually believe those fairy tales, our actions tell another story.
This fairy tale training is the only training most of us ever get in regard to life partner selection. Yet, once we do find a mate and marry, we are expected to stay the course no matter how completely dismal our choice may have been. But alas, we have a correction switch, known as divorce. Children, of course, become the collateral damage of our often poor marital choices.
When you can see inside the personal relationships of public figures that you know you have the opportunity see for yourself how their compatibilities compare to the compatibility in your own personal relationships. While there is nothing any of us can do to make changes in celebrity marriages, we can learn from their choices, good and bad and hopefully, identify strengths and weaknesses in our own relationships and future relationships.
The point then, of showing what others have done in regard to love and marriage is to illustrate that there is a way to perfect your choices and partner selections. You can step back, review potential partners and their bond with you and make the best choice possible. If you succeed in selecting a highly compatible partner you will be reminded, almost daily how your life became peaceful and meaningful with your well-matched partner at your side.
Only a small number will learn from these illustrations. Many others will beat their chests (so to speak) and proclaim they have found their true soul mates, only to learn later (in most cases), they were very wrong.
My goal is to reach that small number of people who want to avoid the whole, all consuming process of marriage / divorce / marriage / divorce, etc., and make just one excellent choice.
