subject: Ed Young, Global Church [print this page] Have any of you ever looked for things to do online, you feel that there are many things that you can do. And you find yourself spending more time online just looking for things on Google. I think that a lot of us have had out time looking reading Wikipedia or something else just taking in random things that do not mean anything. And then before you know it you have been looking for three hours and it is late you are tired, and you realize you will only get five hours of sleep. All too often this happens to the best of us. Ed Young has noticed this and he has several blogs and channels for anyone to see. So it doesnt matter what geographic or demographic you fall under. There is nothing worse than wasted time, especially when that time can be used valuable doing something else.
Not only is it proven that you can less effective in not getting enough sleep, but too much of starring at a screen can be to much. So there must be some moderation there. One thing that you can do is limit the time that you are online just doing nothing, we understand that people have to be on a computer long periods of time for work, and that is ok, but on your spare time wouldnt it be much better to do other things. And if you are online it would be good to read a variety of things, from Ed Young to ESPN. It is always a great thing to be well balanced in life and take a few minutes to let your mind sit back and recuperate. That is one of the great things of the internet, is we can learn anything about everything. But at the same time this is what could also be the curse, it may all come down to how controlled out mind it.
So whether you are looking for articles from The New York Times, Ed Young, or Business Week. There is always something that we can learn, but there does come a time when you need to stop and say, maybe we should go fishing.
