Even running a home business is a skill you can learn how to do. Ultimately it comes down to learning what it takes to make money and then applying what you learn. This is especially true if you're going to be promoting websites where you need traffic.
2. Lack of focus. This is definitely a problem I've had in the past.
It's so easy to read about a new way to make money money and jump into it forgetting to stay focused on what you're already doing. It's also easy to think that there's something you are missing and purchasing another money making idea hoping it has missing ingredient.
Usually it comes down to focusing on one thing and sticking with it until you're making money. Only then can you add another income stream.
3. Not a real reason to sit down and work. If you are fortunate enough to not need money than you may not be motivated enough or have a real reason to do it.
Goal setting is an important part of doing Internet marketing to make money. Having a real reason to sit down and go to work every day is something that only you can be fined for yourself.
I know in my case it was the freedom to quit my full-time job more and work for myself. This continues to motivate me today.
Some people would just like to have some extra money every month to do some fun things with it. Others might need money right now to help fund a college education for their kids.
You can take a really nice vacation if you save $500 a month for one year and then spend it. You can even eat out at a nice restaurant every month for $200 a month.
4. Lazy. If you are not ambitious enough to sit down and go to work maybe you need to consider getting in better physical shape or reading the book "Think And Grow Rich". These might help you get motivated and overcome your laziness.
You really need to step back and determine what is stopping you from making money online right now. Address that reason and then get busy actually earning money. It's not that hard to do thanks to all the many different ways there are to use the Internet to make money.
