In this article we are going to talk about a handful of ways you can actually earn your first dollar. We're not talking about long-term strategies for getting rich online, or even earning a full-time living, but what we are talking about is sitting down in front of your computer and making dollar number one.
1. Take a paid survey. There are many websites you can go to and get paid for surveys and this does not have to cost you anything to do.
Two that come to mind immediately for me include Cash Crate and Inbox Dollars. You can Google search "take paid surveys" and literally find hundreds of sites that provide information on getting started.
We're not talking about turning this into a job. However, it is interesting that there are people who earn several hundred dollars a month part-time sitting at home taking paid surveys or completing offers.
2. Write an article for money. If you can talk chances are you can string together enough sentences to earn money writing an article.
Again this is not the best way to become a full-time Internet writer. Because Google has gone through so many changes in regards to duplicate content, and search engine optimization in articles, writing around targeted keywords is not a good long-term strategy for making money writing.
One thing you can do is go to iWriter.com and set up a free account with them. Look at the various categories that articles need to be written on and find one that appeals to you.
Write it and submit it. If you do a halfway decent job you are going to be approved and earn money.
If you like writing for money I suggest starting your own blog and honing your skills. Also Jenn Dize offers an excellent course on writing articles that sell if you want to look into that as well.
3. Fiverr. At this site you can provide services to other Internet marketers and earn $5 for them.
All you have to do is look at the various things that people are getting paid for to come up with ideas. You can even Google search "how to make money at Fiverr" and find reports and ebooks that go into more detail about using this site to make money.
These are 3 ways you can get started making your first dollar online. Again these are not necessarily long-term strategies for making a lot of money, but they will help you make that first dollar and that's more than many Internet marketers ever do.
