Florida Holidays

Disney World
Disney World

Disney World is hands-down Florida's most popular attraction. Passes to the happiest place on Earth can often be combined with a Florida family hotel package. Even the big kids in the family (teenagers and adults included) will have fun here, with a range of sites and rides in the park to crack even the hardest nut's sense of fun.

Orlando Universal

Florida Holidays

Orlando Universal is an ever-expanding theme park that rivals Disney World as the number one theme park in the state. Now that the park has added the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to its collection, it has sparked a lot of new interest, not least from the vast array of Harry fans worldwide.

South Beach

Glamorous South Beach is the place to see and be seen - keep your eyes out for a celebrity or two as this is a favourite playground for the rich and famous. In addition to the sparkling sands and turquoise waters, there are plenty of galleries, museums, boutiques, restaurants and nightlife to make this an exciting focal point during your vacation.

Florida Keys

Florida Keys is conveniently located just 15 miles south of Miami; and with miles of beaches and a chilled out vibe, this is an excellent place to base yourself on a family holiday. Finding a wonderful Florida family hotel here is a breeze and everyone will enjoy the range of outdoor activities on hand.

NASA Kennedy Space Centre

An education wrapped up in excitement for the kids, a trip to the NASA Kennedy Space Centre is a memorable experience. Located halfway between Jacksonville and Miami, the centre is a fascinating blend of IMAX cinema, space shuttle replicas, rockets and shows that give you a unique insight into the US space program.

St. Augustine

You don't tend to automatically think 'history' when planning a holiday to Florida, but there are indeed interesting historic places to go alongside the shopping, theme parks and palm trees. St. Augustine is the oldest town in the US, having been founded in 1545. Touring the sites of the 'ancient city' is a chance to experience a different aspect of the state, and day tours can often be arranged through your Florida family hotel.

Sea World

Sea World is a must for any family trip to Florida, with plenty of rides, shows and the chance to get up close to whales, sharks, dolphins, walruses and even polar bears. The Florida marine park is also home to several of the endangered Florida manatees.

Florida is a fantastic destination for a family vacation with virtually limitless attractions and sites to visit. There is also an excellent tourist infrastructure in place, and visits to many attractions can be organised easily from your Florida family hotel.
