Places That Might Make Your Stay In Brisbane More Fun

Brisbane is the capital of the Australian region of Queensland and is the fastest growing city in Australia today. Brisbane has an impressive collection of things to see and do and tourists should plan their trips so that they can do as many things as possible.

You just have to pick whatever you want to do and then head to the spot to find it. Shopping, mall style, can be found at the Queen Street Mall. You will stay busy trying to hit all of the 700 plus stores that they have there. If you want to stay busy while someone else shops then you can go spend a few easy hours in the grand casino and spend money they way you like. After everyone has had enough there are some nice choices of restaurants to relax in.

Between Mount Coo-tha and the South Bank you will see all kinds of wildlife. In Mount Coo-tha you can find bushland to explore and some incredibly sculpted natural areas at the Botanical Gardens. To see the famous JC Slaughter falls, you are in the right spot. There is outdoor stuff here galore. To see wildlife of the indoor kind you need to go and spend some nights out at the South bank. This is the spot to find some of the wildest nightlife in the city.

If you are looking for a quaint shopping area with plenty of upscale boutiques offering unique buys and trendy eateries then look no further than the Paddington / Rosalie / Milton area. And while you're there, catch a game or a concert at Bribane's premier outdoor venue, Suncorp Stadium. Fortitude Valley is Brisbane's Chinatown and is also home to the city's exciting and eclectic live music scene. Dance the night away at the Brisbane Jazz Club or the Chinese Club of Queensland before going home at dawn.

The are known as Portside Wharf is where all the tourists from the cruise ships go. There are tons of little spots here to buy all kinds of souvenirs. If you are a fan of flowers you will want to go to New Farm Park and see the hundreds of rosebush varieties. Lastly you will want to check out the artsy district of West End. This is the place to go for wonderful organic food and hard to find oddball items, like rare books.
