Travelling by train is one of the most convenient means of reaching Pune from Bhopal. Travelling by train is the best option if one is travelling with family consisting of elders and small children.

Apart from this air travel is also possible from Bhopal to Pune. But there are no direct flights operating between the two cities. It takes around 7 to 8 hours to reach Pune from Bhopal by air as there would be two or three stops in between. Hence the advantage of quick travel is lost. Moreover, flying from Bhopal to Pune can be costlier as well.

Another option is to hire a cab to reach Pune from Bhopal. This is also a costly affair as taxis charge to the upwards of INR 16100 for a round trip. Nevertheless it is a good option if travelling with family and friends.

Buses are another option for reaching Pune from Bhopal. There are several direct buses connecting the cities and the tickets cost starts from INR 1100. It is suitable for backpackers and lone travellers.
