The bus fare ranges from Rs.350 to Rs.600 depending on the type of vehicle. The direct bus takes about four hours to travel from Pune to Shirdi. The bus journey is suitable for individual travellers and backpackers.
Journey by taxi from Pune to Shirdi is convenient for the families going with kids and senior citizens. Taxi fare ranges from Rs. 2500 to Rs.4000 (one way). Cabs take less than four hours to reach the destination. The road passes through (with the distance in kilometres from Pune) Chakan (30), Manchar (80), Samgamner (160) and Shirdi (200).
