Situational Shooter Multiplayer Preview for Crysis 2

After playing for a quite some time with the game on PC, first time, I have been in a great position than most in the inception of the multiplayer preview event held at San Francisco. No, Crysis 2 is different from its prequel. And one, great core feature of the new game is the use of Nanosuits 2.

All the things that you wanted to do with the suit draws from one, power source that is renewable. During stealth mode (becoming invisible), you will notice that power bar suddenly drops. When it drains, you will become visible again. The same thing goes when you absorb damages during armor mode; it will be subtracted from your suit's power. It is of eminent reminder that you carefully use your suit's abilities and be constantly aware of your power meter, as well as your health bar.

There is no chance using only one tactic to win each battle. This is crucial for the missions require a lot of thinking and one should be tactic-wise to survive. Since using armor mode will make your movements more like of a tank (means moving very slow), somebody might be cloaked and assassinate you from behind. Or if your squad walks closer together, a handful of enemy soldiers may jump over from above and hit the ground with a crashing smash warranting your opponent a multi-kill. Crysis 2 earns the way to make every player to analyze and adapt to every situation as fast as possible.

An interesting asset of this game is weapon modification. Oh! You guys will surely love this! One key element for success in Crysis 2 will be measured though your ability to customize weapons and adapt into tactical situations and threat levels. Each family of weapon has a delicate system on it and the play will exhibit a wide array of gambit options. Amplify and expand the strength of your armor or stealth, and even your power usage through unlocking perks and maximizing your weapon add-ons.

Unusual it is, this new multiplayer game is limited to only six-on-six. This is the opposite to the normal dominating trend of cramming more people in each match. Whatever motivates this risky push, surely, Crysist 2 is taking a backward leap into its approach. Camarillo says that this move is favoring for a less frenzied MP experience focusing on placing more responsibilities to players.

He also added that if a ton of bodies are grouped in one place, everyone will get shots from all directions; this will make the tactics to fall away. If you go in too small groups, it will be hard to find targets. If there are only six players, there is a great mixture of gameplay balance. You have to work efficiently as a team.
