The protagonist, Danny McBride playing the role of Thadeous, must accompany his brother Fabious, played by James Franco, to save their fathers dwindling kingdom before sure destruction. The great part about this film is that the dialogue is heavily improvised, making this not any old parody film but a true comedy.
Thadeous is sick of watching his older brother go forth on venturous missions and his come to terms with a life of his own: consisting of easy women and drinking alcohol. The two brothers team up with a ruthless warrior princess along the way to save their kingdom, played by Natalie Portman. They encounter various scary creatures and hideous monsters on the way. On their journey to save the kingdom, they encounter the Giant Troll played by Michael Clarke Duncan. Michael Clarke Duncan is a perfect actor suited to play this role as a giant troll after his appearance in The Green Mile. Fabious' wife is kidnapped later on in this biopic film. As a loving husband, Fabious is forced to go look for her. When searching for his kidnapped wife, is where the trouble starts. Thadeous helps Fabious in all the wrong ways. He's clumsy and not so bright as compared to Fabious. But, on the way, Thadeous falls in love with the brawling and blonde warrior. If Thadeous can find his inner hero, he can help Fabious along his journey to return his wife.
