New Years DC Celebrity Hopefuls

I hope to see a lot of celebrities at New Years DC celebrations. I think it would be really awesome for famous people to perform in the capitol city on that holiday. A lot of people would come to Washington DC just to see famous people perform because they would want their autographs. If a lot of tourists came to town, all the money they would have to spend to book hotels for the night, eat, and shop, etc would bring in a lot of money for the city. That would be great.

I think the celebrities that young teenagers and kids would like to see perform on New Years Eve in DC are Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus, and the dark-haired girl from iCarly. Of course, every preteen girl in the world has "Beiber Fever", so if he came to town for just one day, half of the United States' teenage girl population would flock to see him. Miley Cyrus and the girl from iCarly are popular with the girls and the boys. The girls look up to these pretty teen idols because they dream of the life they have. They want to be pretty and famous like them. The teenage boys are interested in them for obvious reasons, but mostly their good looks.

If Chris Brown, Rhianna, Little Wayne, and Eminem came to Washington DC on New Years Eve, many people from the teenage through late 20's age group (of all races) would want to come see them. Lady Gaga would attract a lot of men and women as well. The 30+ age group would probably be interested in seeing rock stars and country singers perform. People older than 55 most likely will not be out partying on New Years DC, so it does not really matter what music they like. With the right mix of celebrity singers, Washington DC can have half of the world there to bring in the New Year together. As long as they appeal to people all the way from 5 to 55, no one will feel like they do not fit in, and everyone will be there.
