In a city as vast and varied as London, it's difficult to choose the best' place to base yourself but Covent Garden is probably a good starting point, given that there's so much activity going on all around you.
With a Charing Cross hotel London suddenly seems not quite so vast, given that you have Covent Garden on your doorstep and a mainline railway station too.
And if you feel like venturing a little bit further from Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus is an unmissable sight. London's answer to New York's Times Square, Piccadilly Circus is a great place for an evening stroll and will have you craning your neck in wide-eyed wonder at the massive neon-lit billboards.
London is a lively, accessible conurbation with excellent transport options. And with a comfortable hotel near Covent Garden, you'll be right in the thick of all the action.
