Summary: Increasing temperature on earth or global warming is a serious concern which has changed the climate of all over the world into a abnormal trend causing sudden disasters and calamity panicking the living world under threat.
What is Global Warming?
Increasing temperature or change in temperature on earth is called as global warming. Though change of temperature is a natural phenomenon but this temperature is having abnormal trend for past several years causing green house effect and thus making earth hotter. This has resulted change in climate allover the world.
Impact of global Warming
Abnormal change in climate has seen various unforeseen disasters and calamity are very frequent on earth. The weather condition of many parts of the world has changed hence the regular and timely monsoon has been delayed or else there is no prediction on weather condition. The adverse effects of global warming can be summarized with its most vulnerable impact on following things:
Green House Effects : Happens due to burning of fossils which causes increase in the emission of green house gases which is controlling solar radiation. Thus green house becomes weak and excess solar radiation passes through earth's atmosphere.
Melting of Glaciers: Due to increasing temperature glaciers and ice caps are melting very fast resulting increase in sea levels making ecological imbalance.
Environment: Its impact on environment gets worst as rainfall decreases so as all other seasons gets affected with unusual events.Disasters like storms, hurricane, flood, cyclone and drought will be more frequent and violent.
How to control Global Warming
Global warming is very dangerous today and will be more vulnerable if the change in temperature on earth is not controlled. Controlling global warming is a collective responsibility of every citizen to reduce heavy risk in future. The following controlling measures we should adopt to control the global warming:
Less use of Vehicles- sharing transportation
Use of Renewable energy-to reduce carbon emission
Proper maintenance of Vehicle-to reduce the smoke the vehicles release which has adverse effect on ozone layer.
Maintenance of house surroundings- Cleaning and dispatching waste materials regularly and growing houseplants has a very control over global warming.
Afforestation- Planting trees to create new forest particularly near industrial area can reduce carbon dioxide.
