Running on the road success, Bajaj Auto has registered a jump of 69% in the second quarter. With a huge triumph, the company accounts showed up a total profit of Rs 682.08 crore as compared to the Rs 402.83 crore profit in last year's second quarter. The total income raised by 50% to reach a level of Rs 4,341.82 crore. Talking about the other figures, * Domestic bikes- hike of 53% (632,672 units) * Exports hike- 35% (250,822 units) The maximum credit of this hike was carved out by the two major giants, Pulsar and Discover, as per the expectations. These two models of the company have been performing exceptionally good in the market and registering increased profit with every month. With these two wonders in hand, the company is able to increase its market share to 34 % from 29%. as per Mr. Mr S. Ravikumar, Senior Vice-President of Business Development, this huge hike in EBITDA is all because of Rs 380 crore coming from the additional volumes and Rs 90 crore hailing from pricing actions. He also accepted the probability of increase in raw material prices is high in next quarter. Bajaj has total of three plants in India situated at Chakan, Aurangabad and Pantnagar. These three plants can come out with a total capacity of 5 million units by end of the fiscal year. The company has a huge target of 4 million bikes and other vehicles by this fiscal period. This will lead to a total sale of around 5 million sales in the this financial year. The company has been facing a real scarcity of production units recently and to overcome that, the company is working on new projects of building better capacity plants as well. If the plans take a shape, it will surely increase the profits of the company and will make the work more easy for the company.
