There are about 30 donkeys including other animals like rabbits, pigs, sheep and goats at the park. Some of the activities include feeding the rabbits and taking a ride on the donkey. Brocklands Adventure Park

The Brocklands Adventure Park was started in 1977 and is a nice place for a family day-out. There are several rides at the park. The park also has various animals. Some of the animals you can see at the park are; rabbits, goats, lambs, calves, piglets, guinea pigs, chickens, pheasants and ducks. There are also several exotic animals at the park. You can plan a visit to this park while staying at one of the luxurious Cornwall holiday cottages. The park has been extended to include new attractions and animals. Visiting this park is recommended during your Newquay holidays. With all the new animals and attractions this is one of the popular attractions in Cornwall. You can take the Wildlife Walk with your children. At the bottom of the valley there is a small pond with benches where you can sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Wet and Wild Day

If you love watersports, you will enjoy the Wet and Wild Active-8 Centre situated in St. Austell. This is one of the places you should plan to visit during your Newquay holidays. The activities start at 9:15 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m. If you are staying at one of the Cornwall holiday cottage, you will have to set out right after breakfast to reach the centre before 9 a.m. The drive should take you about one hour to reach this centre in St. Austell. You will need to pack a nice lunch before leaving your Cornwall holiday cottage. The centre will give you a wetsuit; however, you will need to have your own swimming costume, towel, clothes and trainers. The activities at the centre include Coasteering, rock jumping, kayaking and snorkelling. You will also be able to walk around the caves and dive underwater to explore the marine life. This is one of latest attractions at the centre. Coasteering involves making your way over boulders, jumping across the rock pools, leaping off cliffs and crossing ledges. Coasteering is very popular with the young and old. To participate in these activities you need to be unafraid of the water. Visiting the Wet and Wild Active-8 Centre is recommended during your Newquay holidays.
