Many of us today would like to earn some extra cash online, but there are also nearly as many different methods to go about it as there are people trying to do it. Undoubtedly a lot of them are scams or overblown schemes that will leave you making very little money. I personally I think that the best way to go about it for someone with no technical expertise is through writing. But is it really possible for anyone to do this?
Well firstly let me say that I do it, and I don't think I am special. I do not have any special innate talent that others don't have, I am just patient and willing to work hard. And really, I think that patience is the key. If you are asking the question - can I really make money online writing blogs? Then my answer is this - When?
What I mean by that is that if you want to be able to go from 0 to $30,000 per year within a few months then no, it is highly unlikely if not impossible to do this from writing blogs. You will probably make very little in your first 6 months, and you won't be wanting to give up your day job within the first year.
But if you stick with it then you really can make some good money. Working part time I would say that you can build enough of an income that most people would be happy having as their sole source of money within about 2-3 years.
Once you do it you will be glad that you did. It gives you loads of freedom about when and where to work and what you actually do, and it is very satifying and rewarding. But it really does take time, and if you see anyone advertising a program that says they can cut out all of this hard work and have you earning loads of money online from day one, or even month one, then I gurantee to you that it is a scam.
I hope that gives you some idea of whether writing for websites is the thing for you, and about what you can expect to make in terms of money from all of the work you put in. I do recommend it as a profession, but it really isn't a get rich quick opportunity and it is well worth remembering that if you decide to give it a go, as I hope you do if you are unhappy with your current job.
