Start Home Based Business - 3 Ways To Turn Cold Leads Into Paying Customers

If you hope to achieve success with your home-based business, you will have to master the art of driving highly-targeted leads to your online business. Once you've succeeded in driving these leads to your business and onto your autoresponder, you will have to do a few things to turn these cold leads into warm leads, and ultimately into paying customers.

Let's take a look at three ways you can go from turning a stone-cold lead into a paying customer:

#1 - Make sure your opt-in gift is extremely informative

The best way to turn your new leads into happy leads is to over-deliver on your free opt-in product. Many people will offer a gift but make it very useless, which is nothing but a turn-off to your lead. Instead, be sure that your opt-in gift is full of quality information and will have some real-world value.

#2 - Continue to give away free gifts/information once they're on your list

Once your lead is through your opt-in gift and on your list, don't start hard-selling immediately, instead, offer more free information in the form of emails, links to your blog, or even in the form of downloadable PDF documents.

#3 - Don't hard-sell, simply make suggestions about your products

When it comes time to offer your products to your leads, it is often ineffective to just give them a link for a product and hope they buy. Instead, give them an informative email with links sprinkled throughout to your products, which gives them the control to click if they like, or not to if they aren't ready.
