Find the Best Toy for Toddlers This Christmas!! - The Fisher Price Rampway

The Fisher Price Rampway is the latest in the long line of Little People toys that have been one of the success stories for the company. The Rampway is aimed at toddlers and kids aged up to 5, and it holds their attention very well.

While nobody (except for the "toy-experts") can tell if a toy is going to be success before it hits the market, Fisher Price always seem to know what they are doing when it comes to bright and bold toys, and the Rampway is one of the best examples of this.

Initial Appearance and Thoughts

Upon taking the Rampway out of the box, all you need to do is assemble it. This takes mere minutes because there are only six screws to tighten so don't worry if you are not the handy type. The bright colored panels fit together easily, and the assembled Rampway stands at around 2 feet tall around the same height as the average toddler.

The Stand N Play seems especially well made, with a solid construction and a carry handle at the top so it can be carted about easily. When you first see it, the primary colors that make up the Rampway seem very noticeable this is something that you will notice easily, plus kids seem to be attracted to the complex design of the toy.

The Little People Wheelies characters follow the template set by other Little People products they are cute to look at, with a nice look.

How Does It Play?

The Rampway is made up of two ramps that spiral down from the top to the bottom of the toy, and each ramp offers a different selection of gates, tunnels and obstacles to pass through. Kids use the Little People wheelies characters (of which 2 are included in the box) with the toy. Each obstacle passed features either a flashing light or an interesting noise as the cars pass by, and this definitely attracts kids' attention!

Since there are two of each ramp, two people can play at once, which is good if you are sick of them fighting over whose shot it is.

The Rampway is one of those rare toys a consistent entertainer. If you have ever spent a small fortune on something only for your kids to play it for 5 minutes then get bored then you will know how rare this is.
