The building can hold 55,000 spectators and has 80 different entrances, the building was finished AD 80 and truly a sight to behold up close. You will want to visit the Trevi Fountain, which is the most famous fountain in Rome and certainly very beautiful. The fountain below the statue allows you to throw in a coin and it is said by legend that when you toss a coin into the water you will return to the city.

There are many museums and cathedrals that you will want to visit as well as other architectural buildings such as St Peter's Basilica, which is the largest church in the entire world that was built in the 16th century.

Of course, you will find many Italian dishes that may be very different from what you are accustomed to if you are coming from the United States, because it is authentic and quite yummy. Moreover, you can find many different price points when it comes to dining out with several sidewalk cafes or fine dining options throughout Rome. If you still have energy after seeing all the monuments of the city, Rome also has many shopping opportunities and a modern nightlife.

Final Thoughts. When you are in Rome, it is truly like nowhere else in the world and therefore, why not make your trip complete with a vacation apartment? You will be more comfortable having your own private entrance and it will be more spacious with a home-like feel to it.
