Drtv Blog- Short Form Versus Long Form Direct Response Television

There are so many different ways to use a blog, which makes it a great way to advertise, share information, chat with customers, receive feedback, and more. One particular method for using a DRTV blog would be to debate the differences as well as the benefits/drawbacks between long form and short form direct response television. Of course, this would be a DRTV blog directed solely at direct response television advertisers, producers, and marketers. However, it would provide a launching point for individuals to debate in the DRTV blog about whether a product will benefit more from short form or long form direct response television marketing.

There are many individuals who believe short form direct response television should be reserved for more affordable items and that long form direct response television should be reserved for items that are more expensive. It makes sense from a financial standpoint considering the fact that short form television is more affordable than long form. Nevertheless, certain products may benefit more from short form or long form depending on the target market. A DRTV blog would be a great medium for individuals to discuss the product, learn more about it, debate its market and come up with the reasons it should be advertised one way as opposed to another.

Short form direct response television is a great way to advertise items that are easy to demonstrate and that do not require in depth demonstrations. Not to mention, this method is considerably more affordable so it means the customer will be able to watch the advertisement quickly and then immediately make a purchase. Long form, on the other hand, is much longer and usually benefits products that require in depth demonstrations for customers to be able to appreciate the product and purchase it.

There are many similarities between long form and short form DRTV that could be discussed in a DRTV blog. Not to mention as the blog community grows more topics will come up that will need to be addressed. This will keep the DRTV blog lively and a fun place for DRTV advertisers, marketers, producer, and the like, to visit on a regular basis.
